For Anne's Sake (read this blog)

I read Animal Farm by George Orwell. I thought it was interesting. It is not really long, but it has a really interesting message about government and society. It is interesting how we can eventually turn into our enemies if we are not watching ourselves. The animals on Manor Farm are tired of being controlled by humans. They overthrow the humans and create Animal Farm. At first, they live in peace, but many things change as power gets to the pigs heads. Here is what I liked (+) and disliked (-) about this book: + It is short. + It is fairly entertaining. + I feel like you learn something when you read it. At least, I did. - A bit odd. Not that that is bad, but I was a bit hard to... grasp at times. - I got confused with the names sometimes. Overall rating: *** (3/5 stars)

I have recently gained a respect for cat-owners. I don't have a cat, and honestly, I don't know if I will ever own a cat. I think that kittens are cute, (I am no monster) but I would prefer a dog over a grown cat. My family has been visiting some friends who have four cats. One of their cats is particularly frisky. When it is hungry, he will cuddle up to you, and then bite your face. He likes to sneak in the bathroom while you are in their and sit on you or jump in the shower. They also have a cat that is still considered a kitten, (it is about 6 months old) and it is SO CUTE AND FLUFFY! But it hates cuddling and won't sit with you. The kitty litter is so gross. I don't want a box of pee, poop, and sand sitting in my house. That is nasty.   Also, if a cat gets mad, it will scratch you, and you will bleed. In conclusion, dogs. I would rather own a dog. I like cats, so if I ever a cat, it will be an outside cat.

I found this book while browsing at the library. It is was a fun and easy read. A good one to take my mind off of life for a bit. Elise Dembowski has never fit in. At school, she is constantly bullied and tries hard to remain invisible. One night, while taking a midnight walk, she stumbles upon a night club. As time goes on, she realizes that she has a talent and passion for being a DJ. Here are some things I liked (+) and disliked (-) about this book:  + I loved reading about someone who has a passion for music!  + This story is fairly original.  + They mentioned a lot of great songs.  -   I feel that there was not enough description about the town she lived and the characters themselves. I feel like I didn't know the characters as well as I should. Overall rating: *** (3/5 stars)

Most sane people enjoy Mexican food. While discussing tacos and burritos with my family, we wondered what is the definition of a taco and a burrito? Now, we have had many a taco and burrito, but what is the difference? We came to this conclusion. The Taco Small corn tortilla, either hard or soft.  Meat. Typically beef, steak, chicken, or shrimp. Lettuce Cheese Salsa Guacamole Typically, you need more than one taco for a meal. Always folded in half. The Burrito Large flour tortilla. Beans Cheese Meat. Personally, there should be more beans than meat. Lettuce Salsa Guacamole Typically, one or two burritos will suffice as a meal. Always completely folded, so none of the stuff will fall out, even though it usually does. If it is fried, that is a chimichanga. Although they are a bit different, they are both delicious foods hugged in a tasty tortilla. If I were to choose one over the other, that would be like asking your mother which child she likes mo...

 Everyone has obsessions. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as something is consuming your mind, it is an obsession. For me, my obsessions have changed as I have read, watched, and heard different things. In the past I have been obsessed with The Beatles, Sherlock (the BBC TV series), Stranger Things (the Netflix TV series), Hunger Games, and Harry Potter.  Now, I still do love all of these things, but recently, I have been obsessed with twenty øne piløts. If you don't know what twenty øne piløts is, I suggest that you go to Spotify right now and listen to every single song they have up there. Lucky for you, they have a new album coming out in October of this year, which I am extremely excited about. Their music is SO good. Not only do their songs have a good beat, but the lyrics are so poetic and beautiful. They are actually inspiring and I can't help but listen to twenty øne piløts every chance I can get.
